or the abstract interpretation of concrete spaces

A music essentially based on repetition, the use of electric guitars that are out of tune or alternatively tuned and coupled with an eternal delay / loop, allows combinations and the interweaving of infinite sources; the specificity of the trilogy of the « Pièces pour guitare préparée » being that it incorporates the hazardous factor that is linked to improvisation.

Melody remains omnipresent, but is somehow static, haunting, obsessive. Micro changes and alterations within the same loop from auto-sampling sessions enables the listener to follow a long and adventurous path on which the beginning and the end remain abstract, but finally nearly concrete in their capacity to change the atmosphere of the listening room / space / environment.

Sometimes, the sounds of the guitars, treated in real-time, are hardly recognizable, offering a real reflexion on the link between input and output. Some pieces stage static layers of sound that could be interpreted as allegories of  unaffected memories that are nonetheless altered by the process of omission of a selective memory. On the other hand, the textures seem to be purer, devoid of ceremonial and run aground like waves – perpetual and endless but still unique. Sometimes the frequencies become dark and uncontrolable, the sound of an unsettling chaos outside.
