GENERAL BYE-BYE : Welcome!

gbb
We are extremely proud here at Greed HQ to welcome the excellent GENERAL BYE BYE in our label. A Parisian quartet composed of three dudes and a girl (hey, we tend to like this formula!), the globe-trotters of the mighty General Bye Bye have just finished mastering their debut LP which is entitled "Girouette", and shall be released by the end of April 2010.

Certainly the best European answer to Blonde Redhead's last three albums, General Bye Bye develop a super-tight indie pop with honestly enchanting/arresting arrangements. The duality of male/female voices complement beautifully a sound that was already singular with intricate melodies, powerful synthy bass, skillful drumming and voluptuously versatile guitars, hovering between aerial dissonances and noisy backlash.

A French tour (followed by an American tour this summer) will enable you to see the band perform these songs between January and May 2010 with a release party already set to the 11th April at l'International of Paris. (all the gigs on their Facebook; become fans!)

Double icing on the cake here: go to their website to download legally and free of charge the teaser of the album ("Alphabet" EP).

And witness the beauty of this video for "Don't shoot the rabbit", extracted from the "Girouette LP":

The infamous CORNFLAKES HEROES, who have just played a bunch of gigs, have already announced the recording of their third LP this coming spring for an estimated release date in Fall 2010!

We're already waiting for the follow-up to the choice tunes that are "Lifeline" or "Let me be your tamagoshi" and from what we were given to hear at Greed HQ, we can honestly say that noone will be disappointed cuz these dudes have got downright amazing tracks to commit to tape.

You can still have a fresh look at the really cool videos that were made for popular tracks "Lifeline" and "Sex on Channel #4":

ACTION DEAD MOUSE

Our beloved Italians of Action Dead Mouse have had an eventful , but memorable tour and thank all the beautiful people they have met along the countless miles they have been driving through. The tour ended on a mindblowing / life-altering delivery of a gig at our Greed Rex Night #4 in Paris on the 28th of  November. You can see lots of  live videos of that night on the brand new Greed Blog.
But have you all watched the superb videoclip that was made for "Dancing Paper Solo"?
